16-day Everest Base Camp Trek

No trekking company in Nepal would be complete without an itinerary leading you to Everest Base Camp.  Our local partner offers a 16-day trek to give adventurous travelers the opportunity to gaze upon this natural wonder.

Included in the Everest Base Camp Trek:

  • Hotel accommodation & meals in Kathmandu
  • Flight Kathmandu > Lukla > Kathmandu, domestic flight airport tax and airport transfer
  • 13 days guided trekking with a crew consisting of 1 guide, 1 to 2 sherpa(s) depending on group size and 1 locally hired porter (between 2 clients carrying max. 30 kg.), their food, daily wages, accommodation and insurance (for crew only – covering accident or death during trek)
  • Lodge accommodation and 3 meals per day
  • Sagarmatha National Park entry permit fee
  • Flight Kathmandu > Lukla > Kathmandu for trekking guide and sherpa

14-day Annapurna Base Camp Trek

While it may not possess the overwhelming popularity of the Everest Base Camp trek to the general public, the Annapurna Base Camp Trek is no less magnificent.  This itinerary includes trekking to Poon Hill which offers the best sunrise in the Himalayas and panoramic view of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu.

Included in the Annapurna Base Camp Trek price:

  • Brief, guided tours in Kathmandu & Pokhara
  • Trekking guide and porter
  • Accommodation in teahouses (lodges) during the trek
  • 3 meals while on the trek (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
  • Bus transports between Kathmandu & Pokhara
  • Necessary park & trekking permits

12-day Remote Village School Trek

Why just trek, when you can make a difference through trekking!  This amazing journey takes you to remote villages of the Annapurna region.  You’ll deliver clothes, books, and other school supplies to village schools that severely lack resources.  Volunteers who love working with children, are interested in cultural immersion, and want to experience rural Nepal on foot will love this adventure!

  • Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
  • Day 2: Project & cultural orientation and sightseeing
  • Day 3: Transport to Bandipur
  • Days 4-6: Trekking
  • Days 7-8:  Community school program: distribution of supplies & other activities
  • Days 9-10: Return trekking to Bandipur
  • Day 11: Transport to Kathmandu
  • Day 12: Departure day

Included in 12-day Remote Village School Trek:

Not included in any GOAT Volunteers Trip Add-ons in Nepal:

  • Flights to/from Nepal and visa costs
  • Trekking clothing and gear (suggested gear list will be provided)
  • Airport pick-up/drop-off in Kathmandu (unless otherwise stated)
  • International flight & departure service fee at the international airport
  • Water (bring a filter), soft drinks, alcohol, or extra meals/snacks
  • Hot showers during the trekking period (may be available at an extra cost)
  • Sleeping bag (available for rent).
  • Travel insurance policy that covers emergency helicopter evacuation
  • Expenses of personal nature (personal items, laundry, calls, etc.)
  • Tips/gratuities for guides, porters, sherpas, and other support or hospitality staff
