Calling all engineers, builders, craftsmen/women, trades workers, and anyone not afraid of a hard day’s work! Communities revolve around people, but those people require strong buildings and structures to facilitate various activities to pursue development. If you don’t mind working with your hands and getting a little dirty, come help build a something local Tanzanians can be proud of.
Community Development (Construction) Volunteering in Tanzania
You may find that the way you’re used to working on building projects back home can be very different from this experience; the materials used are often more simple and there can be limited tools for construction. There are no specific qualifications to volunteer in this project. However, engineers and volunteers with skills in construction, cultural conservation and community leading are highly valuable.
If you want to help actually build & maintain communities, this is the project for you!
